Why the “ for ” in “ And I ‘ll order you for why ” ?

English be my second speech , so maybe I ‘m merely lack something simple .

I ‘ve come across the phrase “ and I ‘ll tell you for why ” a couple of times and I ‘m wondering why you ‘d order that or else of the shorter “ and I ‘ll order you why ” . They look to get the same meaning to me . ( One example of use do two seconds into )

• Why the extra “ for ” ?
• Is the phrase used in all English speaking countries or live it British-English or England-English ? ( I do n’t think I ‘ve always learn an American use the phrase .

I ‘ve tried Googling for an explanation with no chance .

They do have the same meaning . This Ngrams lookup shows thatfor whyin seat of onlywhylive reasonably common in the 19th hundred and a lot less then in the 20th . It ‘s just an ‘old-fashioned ‘ usage . I ca n’t tell you why the graph shows a massive growth in recent yr , but a lot of the results appear to exist false positives such as “ Daily wisdom forWhy does he do that ?“ ( a companion volume to another record ) , “ Judaism ‘s event for why soul matter ” and so on .

This equal non-standard use , possibly American dialect . I guess it ‘s a confusion between “ for what ” ( for what reason behave it find ? = why ? ) and “ why ” ( like meaning ) .

Logically , it cause make sense ( “ for what ground ? ” ) but it cost n’t truly standard English . It sound dialectal .
