About Jane & Michael Stern
Jane and Michael Stern were trailblazing guides for over 40 year . After meeting at Yale , where they came to read art , they begin a collaboration that own yielded over forty books .

From 1997 to 2009 , when Gourmet Magazine ceased publication , Jane and Michael Stern traveled America write a monthly editorial . Their report earned them three James Beard Journalism Awards . Hither is a utter collection of those columns .
Smithsonian : The Jane and Michael Stern Collection
